Variables
Sora
Occurred the most disproportionately in hexagons with more than 2%
wetlands and wet shrubland, or lesser wetlands and wet shrubland area
but with intermediate topographic variation. Where no wetlands and
wet shrubland, occurrence is associated with relatively high road
density (35-198 miles of road per sq. mi.) and elevation (hex. avg.) of
less than 237 ft. or between 745-1333 ft. The logistic regression
analysis showed positive or negative association with wetlands and wet
shrubland, number of land cover types, topographic variation, April
precipitation (hex. med.), and-to a lesser degree-agricultural lands,
elevation (hex. avg.), the extent of public land, and July maximum
temperature (hex. max.).
